Race by Hearts takes the privacy of our customers ("Customer" or "you" or "your") seriously.
Your use of Race by Hearts may cause certain information, including information you may consider personal to you ("Personal Information"), to be stored locally on your iPhone ("Device"). This data includes your age, weight, gender, and specific details of the exercises you perform ("Workout Data").
By default, Workout Data is stored locally on your Device. You may also opt to store Workout Data with third party service providers such as RunKeeper and Apple's Health App Database (see relevant sections below).
We will treat your Personal Information and Workout Data as confidential (see relevant sections below). We will not share your Personal Information or Workout Data with third parties, such as third party service providers and/or advertisers.
During a workout connected to nearby users of the Race by Hearts app ("Team Members"), the Application will transfer data about your instantaneous heart rate to the connected Team Members. The Application does not collect or store heart rate data about other team members, except for statistics aggregated over the course of a whole workout.
You may opt to sync and back up your Workout Data with RunKeeper. Authentication with RunKeeper is carried out using RunKeeper's official APIs using OAuth2; Race by Hearts does not store your RunKeeper username or password. You can stop syncing data to RunKeeper at any time by turning the RunKeeper sync feature off in Race by Hearts's settings.
Race by Hearts is in no way responsible for the protection of the Workout Data and/or other information stored in your RunKeeper account. You and RunKeeper are solely responsible for the protection of such information in your RunKeeper account. Please review RunKeeper's applicable policies and procedures before syncing and backing up your Workout Data and/or other information with RunKeeper.
You may opt to integrate Race by Hearts with Apple's Health App Database. If you grant Race by Hearts access to Apple's Health App Database, Race by Hearts will import information about your gender, age and weight from the Health App Database into the Application, to support calculation of your calorie expenditure. In addition, Race by Hearts may transfer data, collected during workouts and stored locally on your Device, such as heart rate and workout information, to the Health App Database. Race by Hearts cannot read from or write to the Health App Database unless you grant access. Data accessed from the Health App Database will never be shared with third parties, such as third party service providers and/or advertisers, without your permission.
Race by Hearts is in no way responsible for the protection of the Workout Data and/or other information stored with Apple's Health App Database. Please review Apple's applicable policies and procedures before syncing and backing up your Workout Data and/or other information with the Health App Database.
